Nursing Doesn’t Stop At Home

“Nurse, just another word to describe a person strong enough to tolerate everything and soft enough to understand everyone”

People assume once nurses leave their workplace, they are engaged with social events and want nothing to do with their occupation. But as my photographs prove, nursing does not stop at home especially not for Hannah, a Paediatric nurse.

When you have a family, with children to look after, you are constantly, on your feet nursing wounds and looking after them. Alongside this, there is also many mixed emotions created during working hours, which slowly build up in them, frustration, happiness and determination

  1. I was fascinated by your slideshow. First, I’m highly visual. Second, I react to motion. Third, I believe myself to be a nurse. I don’t work in a hospital, though I do minister to the needs, wants, and desires of others who may at times feel they are in pain. Nowadays, these are mostly persons in the throws of dementia.

I can only imagine what goes round and round in the head of a pediatric nurse. That’s why your gallery is so fascinating. I’m going to be thinking of you for the rest of the day.
