“I really do believe that art changes the landscape of the world” – Marc Jacobs
To develop as a photographer I wanted to explore new areas of photography before sticking to one area which as you may know is portrait photography. To start off I travelled to Dover capturing images as I took the 40 minutes hike to the lighthouse and back. Below are my favourites before I was suddenly forced by a severe rainstorm the to pack up my kit and rush to safety; 20 minutes out.
The White Cliffs located at Dover are the most recognizable landmarks in England, with a number of people using the ferry travelling to and from France everyday.
Fact 1: On a clear day it is possible to see France.
Fact 2: There are hidden tunnels located behind the face of Dover’s cliffs that were carved by prisoners held in Dover Castle during the Napoleonic Wars
Fact 3: Shakespeare mentions the White Cliffs in “King Lear”
